課程概述

This course serves to bridge the theory and practice of English-language teaching for pre-service teachers in Taiwan. It provides opportunities for students to put into practice their prior knowledge of the methods and techniques of English teaching through micro-teaching, classroom observations, and an individual project. The course also aims to further develop students’ ability with course design, lesson planning, and development and evaluation of teaching activities and materials. Specifically, in the first semester, students will learn to write and implement lesson plans, evaluate others’ and their own teaching, and initiate and sustain interaction in the classroom. In the second semester, students will have the opportunity to be placed in a secondary school with a supervising practitioner.  

課程目標
The goal of this course is to develop students’ English teaching skills and prepare students for actual teaching at secondary schools. 
課程要求
1. Conscientious preparation, punctual attendance, and active participation.
2. Attend school visits on time.
3. Dress appropriately for class visits.
